What is NASAW?

9C1ADF05-A0AD-408F-A7AE-DC934CAAD4CE.png     We are a summer classical music school dedicated to the preparation and education of string players here in Wichita. Our goal is to equip students of the violin, viola, cello and string bass with the skills, with the support and encouragement needed to succeed in orchestral and solo performance. We also give guidance and support to parents new to the world of classical music.

This summer we are offering two camp choices. Both sessions will be offered in June. One on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm and one from Friday morning from 9- 11am. Each session is $85 and payment is due at first lesson. Each session will be a combo of private lessons and ensemble practice. We will be preparing students to play in small ensembles or solo at our recital on Saturday, June 22nd at the Old Town Farm & Art Market. We will also have a dress rehearsal on Friday, June 21st at 6pm for all students to prepare for recital the next day.

We hold the camp at University United Methodist church, just north of WSU. Address is 2220 N Yale.
